Nitish Kumar Reddy exposes IPL teams' cheap strategy to get him before Mega Auction

SRH allrounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has broken his silence on the cheap strategy opted by the various IPL teams ahead of the mega auction last year. Reddy revealed that various teams tried their best to get him into their teams with highly lucrative offers.
However, the all-rounder decided to stay with Sunrisers Hyderabad and displayed his loyalty to the franchise. Nitish Kumar Reddy has been backed by the franchise when he wasn't at his best.
The youngster is now in great form after playing for India across formats. As a result, he got some great offers from the other IPL teams. However, he wants to achieve great things for the franchise in the upcoming years.

Nitish Kumar Reddy exposes IPL teams' cheap strategy
While speaking in a video posted on PUMA's YouTube channel, Nitish Kumar Reddy spoke about the various offers that he received from various IPL teams ahead of the mega auction.
But the youngster decided to showcase his loyalty towards the franchise as they have been supportive of him during his tough times. Reddy also spoke about his desire to win an IPL title for SRH and claimed that the offers from the various franchises were highly tempting.
"To be honest, I got some offers but you know, SRH is one team which I can really connect to them, it's a home team for me, and wanted to make wonders," the allrounder said.
"I just want to perform well and bring that Cup back to SRH, they have shown absolute faith in me and it's my time to show faith on them, give trust on them - there was some talks to get me into the auction from other franchises but the answer was to play for SRH but it wasn't easy no to everyone," Reddy added.

Nitish Kumar Reddy's breakthrough IPL season
Nitish Kumar Reddy had a breakthrough season last year when he played 13 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The allrounder scored 303 runs at an average of 33.67 and a strike rate of 142.92.
In a batting line-up full of explosive batters, Reddy provided the much-needed calmness in the middle order and showed immense maturity at such a young age. He didn't get many chances with the ball but managed to pick up three wickets.
His impressive showing earned him an international debut. He has played five Tests and four T20Is so far and has been highly impressive. Reddy played all the matches during India's Test tour of Australia last year and was one of the shining lights for the visiting team.
SRH's IPL 2024 season
Sunrisers Hyderabad finished runners-up last season as they lost the final to Kolkata Knight Riders. It was a heartbreaking loss for a team that had played so well till that point.
However, KKR proved to be too good on the day and SRH had no answers to them. SRH will be aiming to go one step further this year and lay their hands on the title.
