Rohit Sharma Struggles With Bat In India Last Two Matches

The Men in Blue have secured a spot in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 by winning all three matches. They started with a victory against Ireland, followed by a thrilling low-scoring win against Pakistan. The Indian team concluded their New York leg with a comprehensive victory over their co-hosts, the USA.

Rohit Sharma started the T20 World Cup with an unbeaten half-century against Ireland but was forced to retire hurt due to an injury. However, the right-handed batter struggled in subsequent matches against Pakistan and the United States of America. He scored 13 and 3 runs in India's last two outings in the World Cup.

USA and Pakistan are competing for the second spot in Group A of the T20 World Cup. The USA will face Ireland in their next match at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida, on June 14. A victory over Ireland or a match washout will secure their spot in the Super 8 stage of the World Cup.
