Former India National Cricket Team opening batsman Wasim Jaffer hilariously reacted with a ‘qudrat ka nizam (law of nature)’ meme after the Pakistan National Cricket Team earned a victory over the New Zealand National Cricket Team.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Black Caps in the 35th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday, November 4.

The decision to bowl first was severely criticized by the former experts and cricketers and the first innings turned out to be a nightmare for the Pakistani bowlers.

The strong pace-bowling unit of Pakistan was decimated by the power of Kiwis, who ended up posting a total above 400. The top two performers for New Zealand were Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (95) who helped their side reach 401/6 in 50 overs.

Chasing the target against the Black Caps, Fakhar Zaman brought out his beast mode and smashed a spectacular century while being supported very well by his skipper Babar Azam.

Fakhar smashed sensational 126 runs off 81 balls, with 8 fours and 11 sixes, while Babar Azam scored 66 runs off 63 balls, with 6 fours and 2 sixes. After multiple rain interruptions, Pakistan’s score after 25.3 overs was 200/1 and they were well ahead as per the DLS method. In the end, the play wasn’t able to start due to the rain in the city and Pakistan won by 21 runs (DLS method).

Wasim Jaffer came up with yet another post in which he was seen praising Fakhar Zaman for his playing a classy innings during the mammoth run-chase in Bengaluru.

With the victory, Pakistan have managed to keep their hopes alive for the semi-final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Also, following the result of the New Zealand vs Pakistan clash, South Africa have become the second team after India to qualify for the semi-finals.
