NZ vs PAK: Watch - Kane Williamson Takes Blinder To Remove Abdullah Shafique

Kane Williamson hasn???t put a wrong foot in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 game against Pakistan. The 35th game of the tournament is currently taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, which has seen a festival of runs so far.

After setting a gigantic target of 402 runs, New Zealand started the second innings on a high note. Premier pacer Tim Southee removed Abdhulla Shafique in the second over the game. But the credit for that goes to skipper Kane Williamson, who produced a staggering effort on the field.

Tim Southee bowled a full and wide of off delivery with a hint of away swing. Abdullah Shafique tried to go over the covers with a loft but he didn???t get his timing right. The ball hit the lower half of the bat and was heading towards the left of mid-off. It seemed that the ball would land safely but Kane Williamson grabbed a staggering catch.

Kane Williamson rushed back first and then realized he needed to put in a dive. He put in a great dive and gobbled the catch with his right shoulder whilst on the slide. The skipper potentially took a catch of the tournament and helped his team get off to a great start.
