New Zealand will be eyeing another win when they take on Pakistan in the second game of the ongoing five-T20I series. The match is scheduled to be played at the University Oval in Dunedin on Tuesday (March 18).
BlackCaps have taken the lead in the series after beating Pakistan by nine wickets in the series opener. New Zealand completely outplayed Pakistan to go 1-0 up in the series.
Asked to bat first, Pakistan's batters looked completely clueless in the swinging conditions. Both of their openers departed for a duck and the visitors just could not recover after that. They were eventually bowled out for just 91 runs with only three batsmen reaching double-digit figures.
Of those three batters, only Khushdil Shah (32) managed to cross the 20-run mark. For New Zealand, Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy were the pick of the bowlers. Jamieson picked up 3 wickets for just 8 runs while Duffy claimed 4 for 14.
