Fans on X reacted after Rassie van der Dussen slammed a magnificent century against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2023. Match 32 of the tournament is taking place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. 

Rassie van der Dussen has oozed his class in Pune and has played a magnificent inning. The right-hander came to bat when South Africa lost Temba Bavuma (24) early and after that, he made sure that his side was in the dominating position in the Pune and was putting New Zealand under pressure. 

Rassi van der Dussen looked in great nick as he stepped on the crease. He batted magnificently well and played some breathtaking strokes all over the ground and made a mockery of the New Zealand bowling up. The batter along with Quinton de Kock made sure that they lay a great platform for power hitters. 

Rassie van der Dussen added 200 runs with de Kock (114) and made sure that South Africa went past 230 runs with ease. Their partnership put New Zealand on the back foot and they didn’t seem to have answers to the rollicking batting display by then. 

Rassie van der Dussen brought his second ton of the ICC World Cup 2023 in 101 balls. However, he didn’t stop there as he kept hitting balls outside the park. After reaching his ton, he unleashed his beast mode and played some brutal strokes. 

Rassie van der Dussen ended with the knock of 133 runs off 118 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 112.71 and also smashed 9 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. His knock ensured that South Africa went past 300 runs on the board.
