Ollie Robinson Splits From Fiancé And Mother Of His Child Just Two Months Before Wedding For Influencer: Reports

England fast-bowler Ollie Robinson has reportedly split from his long-term fiancé just two months before they were planning to get married. The England star also has a two-year-old child with his fiancé.

The right-arm pacer recently plied his trade for England in the Ashes and became the subject of a vicious attack from the Australian cricketing fraternity after delivering an expletive-laden send-off to Usman Khawaja during the second Test. More than his performance, Ollie Robinson made it to the news for the controversy.

He faced severe criticism from the Australian fans as well as former players for giving a send-off to Khawaja after dismissing him for 141. Several former players from Australia including the likes of Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke openly slammed the pacer and also took a dig at his bowling ability.

Ollie Robinson dumps his fiancé:

According to a report in Daily Mail, Ollie Robinson has dumped his fiancé just a few months before their planned wedding. He was in a relationship with Lauren Rose Pullen for the past eight years and was due to marry her in October. The report stated that the invitation for the wedding was already sent out to friends and family.

However, the England cricketer has decided to end the relationship and is now in a relationship with influencer Mia Baker, as per the report. Mia has a good following on Instagram and is also sponsored by a number of leading brands from the sports. The 28-year-old boasts of 176,000 followers on Instagram.

Both Mia and Ollie Robinson follow each other on Instagram. The cricketer has also removed all the photos of Lauren and their child from his Instagram page, making it clear that he has decided to walk out on them.

“Lauren is heartbroken and totally devastated. One minute she was getting ready to marry the man she loves and spend the rest of her life with him and the next, he leaves her and she finds out that he’s seeing someone else.

“Despite the pain he’s caused, he’s not shy of liking and commenting on Mia’s Instagram posts. He’s also deleted all photos of Lauren and his daughter from his social media,” a source told the news outlet.

“We were invited to the wedding but then in late July we were told that it had been called off and that Ollie was seen with Mia by some of the England team. A lot of them and us are disgusted by what he’s done.

“We all thought that he had finally settled down and saw him as a family man because he and Lauren appeared to be so happy with their child. But he hasn’t changed and what does it say about your character to walk out on your family like this?” added the source.

The report further stated that the rumors of Robinson’s affair with Mia started after he was spotted by some England players at the team hotel during the Ashes this summer. The source also stated that the incident could be one of the reasons behind his axing from the team for the last two Tests.

The latest incident has only tarnished Ollie Robinson’s image. He is not new to courting controversies. In 2014, Yorkshire had dismissed him after a series of misconduct incidents. In 2021, he made it to the news for all the wrong reasons after being indefinitely suspended from international cricket pending the outcome of a disciplinary investigation for posting racist and sexist tweets as a teenager.
