ICC has revealed Men’s Associate Cricketer of the year. Oman’s Zeeshan Maqsood has won this award. Maqsood is a 34-year-old player from Oman who is also the captain of the team. He is a left-handed batsman and slow left-arm off-spinner. He plays as an opener.

In the year 2021, Zeeshan Maqsood played 10 ODIs and 3 T20I games. In 9 innings in ODIs this year, he slammed 270 runs at an average of 33.75. He also slammed 2 half-centuries. In 2 T20I innings, he scored 46 runs at an average of 23.0. Zeeshan Maqsood also scalped 5 wickets in 3 T20I games at an average of 11.20. In ODIs, the left-arm spinner scalped 16 wickets at an average of 21.18.
