England vs Pakistan 2nd Test match has concluded, and the Three Lions won the match by 194 runs, sealing the three-match series after taking a 2-0 lead at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, London. Ahead of day 4’s play, Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq came out to the ground, and he was slammed by former pacer Stuart Broad, and now Tanvir Ahmed also exposed the opener.
Imam-ul-Haq, during the 2nd Test match, suffered a grade-1 tear in his left calf. As per the report from Cricinfo, the batter was prescribed ten days of rest. He was ruled out of the second game and also the third Test. However, he came out for warm-up with a strapping on his leg and did his batting drills, which came out shocking for everyone.
Stuart Broad slammed Imam-ul-Haq for show-off
On day 4, ahead of the start of play, Imam-ul-Haq was caught knocking a ball around on the sidelines with tape over his left calf. He was seen hobbling as he practised his batting, and former England pacer Stuart Broad, while speaking on Sky Sports, took a swipe at the Pakistan opener, calling it a show-off rather than a practice, and he was not impressed with the same.
“That’s all for show. He has got a bit of stick from the media and maybe his teammates. Whatever. You can do that inside the indoor school without anyone seeing; you don’t have to come wearing shorts and tape and hobble around like that. I am not impressed with that. Sorry,” he said on Sky Sports while talking about Imam-ul-Haq.
"He can come and bat easily": Tanvir Ahmed on Imam-ul-Haq faking injury
Now, replying to the same incident, former pacer Tanvir Ahmed, while speaking on a TV show, revealed that Imam-ul-Haq did the knocking on purpose and called him crazy. He stated:
“Imam, the way you were knocking today. Are you crazy? You deliberately batted out in the open, and you were basically exposing yourself in front of everyone. The way you were knocking. 100 percent, everyone will say, 'he can easily bat.’ Who told you? Who told you to go out there and do knocking? Are you crazy? After that, people will talk about you. Nobody's brain is functioning properly."

Pakistan suffer another defeat
Coming to the match, Pakistan were bound to chase a mammoth target of 389 runs, and they failed drastically despite their bowlers having performed well in the Test match. The bowlers in the first innings bowled England out for 290 runs and 208 in the second.
However, the batters failed as they were bowled out for 110 runs, and then a fighting knock from Saud Shakeel of 97 runs helped the side to save from some humiliation, but after his wicket they were bowled out for 194 runs, as no other batter was able to smash a fifty in the whole two innings for the side.
