The Babar Azam-led side recently hammered Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series. They were set to directly play Asia Cup 2023 following the series against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan players are set to assemble in Sri Lanka on August 17 and will train on August 19, 20, and 21 ahead of the three-match series. After the conclusion of the series, the Men In Green will return to Pakistan on August 27.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will open their Asia Cup 2023 campaign against Nepal National Cricket Team in Multan on August 30. The Babar Azam-led side will play their next match against arch-rivals India National Cricket Team on September 2 in Pallekele.
