Imam-ul-Haq played a match-winning knock against Bangladesh to lead Pakistan to victory in Asia Cup 2023. After his incredible batting show, Imam-ul-Haq took to X (formerly Twitter) and said that he likes to reply with his bat to his haters.
Imam-ul-Haq slammed a marvellous knock of 78 runs in the PAK vs BAN match. With his knock, he led the team to victory while chasing a target of 194 runs. During his 76 off 84 balls, Haq stormed 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) after his stunning knock, Imam-ul-Haq wrote that he believes in replying to his haters with his bat.
“Alhmdulillah! A brilliant team effort to seal the victory for our beloved nation. I believe in replying to my haters and complimenting my fans with the bat. Special Thanks to skipper @babarazam258 for the unconditional support and believing in me #PakvsBAN #BANvPAK,” the opening batsman wrote on X.

Pakistan needed a chase down a low total of 194 in the match. With Imam-ul-Haq’s knock, Pakistan chased down the target within 40 overs by 7 wickets. With the victory, Pakistan started their Super Four round on a winning note.
Batting first, Bangladesh could not survive against Pakistan’s pace attack. Opener Mehidy Hasan Miraz got out for a duck. Shakib Al Hasan (53) and Mushfiqur Rahim (64) hit brilliant half-centuries. However, other batters failed to come up with a good knock and were bowled out for 193.

Player Of The Match Haris Rauf Grabbed 4-Wicket Haul
Pakistan pacers Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah attacked with their lethal pace, While Rauf hunted 4 wickets to eventually win the Player of the Match award, Shah grabbed 3 wickets.
Later during the chase, Babar Azam (17) and Fakhar Zaman (20) could not score big. However, Imam-ul-Haq (78) and Mohammad Rizwan (63*) ensured a comfortable victory for the team.
Pakistan is now set to face India and Sri Lanka in the Super Four round of Asia Cup 2023. They take on India on September 10 and Sri Lanka on September 14.
