PAK vs BAN: "Spectacular Performances By Our Pacers" - Fans Praise Pakistan For Dominant Win Over Bangladesh In Super 4 Stage

Fans on X reacted after the Pakistan Cricket Team thumped Bangladesh by 7 wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Babar Azam-led kickstarted the Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 on high and sent a dominating message to other teams in the tournament, especially India whom they will be facing next.

Pakistan continued their good form with bat and ball as they dominated Bangladesh throughout the game. The pace trio of Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Afridi set up the game pretty well in the first innings as based on their terrific bowling the hosts bundled out the opposition for 193 runs. 

Even 193 wasn’t possible for Bangladesh with the way Pakistan bowled. But the veteran duo of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim smashed a crucial 100 runs partnership. While the captain scored 53 runs whereas the keeper-batter scored 64 runs as the visitors powered themselves to a decent total. 

Bangladesh were quite decent with the ball as they tested the Pakistan batters. They removed Fakhar Zaman (20) and Babar Azam (17) early. But Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan played sensationally well and took the game away from the opposition by smacking them all over the park. 

Imam-ul-Haq smashed 78 runs whereas Mohammad Rizwan smashed unbeaten 63 runs and along with Agha Salman (12*) won the game for his team. Pakistan completed a comfortable 7-wicket win and going into the game against India, it’ll be a massive boost for them. The game will take place on Sunday (10th September) in Colombo.
