PAK vs BAN: Watch - Big Blow For Pakistan As Naseem Shah Walks Off The Field Injured In Asia Cup 2023

Pakistan and Bangladesh are facing off each other in the first game of the Super 4 stage in Asia Cup 2023. The hosts have been put into the field first at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Babar Azam-led side have yet again chipped in with wickets in powerplay. 

While there has been a joy for wickets taken, Pakistan also suffered a major blow and the management would be having a headache. Their exciting pacer Naseem Shah injured himself during the game and walked off the field, which isn’t a good sign for them especially with the ICC World Cup around the corner. 

Naseem Shah injured his shoulder while attempting to save the boundary and hurt himself. It was during the 7th over when the ball brushed the pads of Mohammad Naim off Shaheen Afridi‘s and raced towards the fine leg boundary. 

Naseem Shah made a diving effort and slid to his left and ended up hurting his shoulder. He looked in immense pain and the physios were out quickly. He then walked off the field and didn’t look in good shape. Here’s the video:

Naseem Shah drew the first blood for his team in the game as he removed the centurion from the last game Mehidy Hasan Miraz on the first ball he bowled. The pacer bowled a good-length ball on the pads. The batter tried to glance it away but ended up chipping it straight to the fielder at mid-wicket.
