England Cricket Team has named the squad for the upcoming Pakistan Test Series. The Test Series is scheduled in December just after the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. England’s ultra-attacking approach would be tested in Pakistan where spin comes into play.

Pakistan Cricket Board would be delighted to see England play Test Series. The recently concluded T20I Series between these two nations was fascinating as there was even a contest between bat and ball. This Test Series is a part of the World Test Championship where Pakistan is still in the race whereas England is done and out and would look to spoil the party.

Liam Livingstone for Pakistan Tests

The flamboyant all-rounder would be wondering how he has made the cut for the Test team. The right-handed batter has got some exciting spin bowling variation; the all-rounder changes his bowling to the right-handed and left-handed batter.  It looks like England is applying horses for course strategy.

His inclusion may be because Moeen Ali refused to come for the tour. If he gets a chance then he can entertain the spectators with his brutal stroke-play. It would be interesting to see how he fares in the bowling department where in Test Cricket the spinner has to be consistent with his line & lengths.

Stiff Task for England

England Cricket Team would be without their star batter, Jonny Bairstow. The right-handed batter’s absence would be a huge blow as he was in the form of his life. Head Coach Brendon McCullum would be hoping that the team continues its winning momentum.

Under the captaincy of Ben Stokes, England has found a way of finding a match-winner on a given day. The team has looked fearless and most importantly they are looking hungry for success.
