Danish Kaneria has criticized Mohammad Ali for his poor performance in the Multan Test match against England. In the opinion of the former Pakistani player, the speedster is unfit to play international cricket.
Ali returned without picking up a wicket in the crucial Test match against the visitors. Earlier in the first Test, England won by 74 runs, he had taken four wickets.

Danish Kaneria stated on his YouTube channel: “Mohammad Ali is not a Test cricketer.” You must proceed with someone else. He lacks both capability and aggression. He’s good enough to compete on the domestic circuit. He is not suitable for international cricket.”
Danish Kaneria inquired about the team’s management’s decision to rest the ailing Naseem Shah (shoulder niggle). He feels that the pacer ought to have participated in the crucial match, in which Pakistan lost by 26 runs and thus lost the series 0-2.

” Why did you rest Naseem Shah? You could have paired him with Faheem Ashraf. He could have done something. He may have also scored runs. Mohammad Ali can’t bowl, bat, or field. A total waste of time. Pakistan’s performance was pitiful.”
Danish Kaneria criticized Babar Azam’s dismissal:
Babar Azam was also criticized by Danish Kaneria for being removed from the game against England in the fourth innings. He believes that the right-hander shouldn’t have intentionally left the ball that struck the stumps.
For the uninitiated, Babar only managed to score one run off 10 balls against England in the second innings. In the Rawalpindi Test, he had only previously scored four runs.
“Babar didn’t know where was his off stump. He left the ball. It shows the quality of cricket.”
Danish Kaneria believes the Men in Green lack the necessary skills to compete in Test cricket.
“Test cricket requires a lot of temperament and mental power.”
In the forthcoming Karachi Test, which begins on Saturday, December 17, Babar Azam and company will now want to play for pride.
