Pakistan Cricket Team received a heart-wrenching defeat against England at Rawalpindi. The Men in Green lost the match by 74 runs and would be utterly disappointed with their performance as the pitch had hardly anything in it for the bowlers. Skipper Babar Azam would rue the fact that he wasn’t able to play a long & effective inning.

England would be delighted with their performance as they displayed never to say die attitude. The veteran fast bowler James Anderson was spot on with his line and length as he took 4 wickets. The skipper Ben Stokes was seen marshaling his troops and didn’t panic.

The credit for the English team’s win goes to the coach. Pakistan team will compete against England in Multan. A new cricket will be seen in Multan,” said Ramiz Raja.

Steep Road Ahead for Pakistan

With Haris Rauf ruled out of the Multan Test Match, the bowling attack now looks fragile. The absence of Shaheen Afridi is undoubtedly hurting Pakistan as the pacer has the knack of picking up wickets at crucial junctions of the match.

It looks unlikely that Hasan Ali would be called up as a replacement as the speedster doesn’t have promising numbers behind him.

England would be eager to seal the series in Multan which is set to commence on 09th December (Friday). England will have to be careful here as Multan is supposed to be a competitive pitch. With Liam Livingstone ruled out of the Test Series, there are chances that the 18-year-old Rehan Ahmed may get a chance as he is a handy batter too.
