New Zealand is thrashing Pakistan in the second T20I while batting first. They had a terrific start with the bat as Finn Allen went past his fifty in a flash of an eye. However, Pakistan cricket was again in their usual form in the field as they made silly fielding errors costing them a lot. Babar Azam is being trolled for his fitness after he made an error while fielding which led to a boundary.

Babar Azam had a terrible past few months but he scored a fifty in the first T20I to regain some of his form. In the second T20I while fielding in the deep backward point he made a fielding error that cost Pakistan four runs and now the video is surfacing on social media with fans trolling his fitness. The Pakistan team is infamously known for their fielding and they have had a lot of incidents involving silly catch drops and misfields.

The midfield happened during the ninth over when Usama Mir was bowling to Finn Allen. Usama Mir bowled a short delivery outside off and Allen smashed it hard towards the wide long-off where Babar Azam gifted a boundary to the BlackCaps’ opener. Finn Allen smashed 74 off 41 deliveries where he hit seven fours and five sixes in his innings and gave a flying start to New Zealand in the second T20I.

The video of the incident where Babar Azam misfields an easy ball is going viral on ‘X’ and fans are trolling his fitness while sarcastically comparing him to Virat Kohli. Babar Azam is one of the safest fielders in the Pakistan team and such misfields are not expected of him which gives another reason for the fans to troll his fielding.

Babar Azam scored his 31st half-century in the first T20I and regained his batting form after a long halt of four months. However, Pakistan lost the first T20I in Auckland while chasing a mammoth total of 226 which was set by New Zealand riding on the back of half-centuries from skipper Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell. Pakistan were bowled out for 180 and New Zealand won the match by 46 runs.

The Blackcaps have set a target of 195 for the Men in Green in the second T20I and they are off to a flyer in the second innings sending both the openers back under 10 runs. Pakistan is yet to win a match since their clash against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and they are coming after being whitewashed by Australia in the three-match Test series.

The Men In Green, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi is looking meek against the Blackcaps and New Zealand is one of the most difficult teams to defeat at their home. New Zealand is looking strong against Pakistan and are expecting to win two matches in succession. However, Babar Azam loves to bat against New Zealand and has a good record against them. So Pakistan will push their hopes up against the Kiwis and will hope for a Babar Azam masterclass with the bat.
