Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali indulged in an ugly banter with a fan during the Pakistan tour of Australia 2023-24. A fan made sarcastic comments to Hasan Ali at Sydney Cricket Stadium after PAK vs AUS 3rd Test and the Pakistan pacer gave him a befitting response.

Pakistan recently lost a three-match Test series in Australia. The visitors, led by Shan Masood, faced a humiliating 3-0 loss in the series. Hasan Ali became a member of the squad due to the absence of pacer Naseem Shah, who has been out of the field since Asia Cup 2023 due to injury.

Pakistan lost the 1st Test by a huge margin of 360 runs. They showed a better performance in the 2nd Test in Melbourne but lost by 79 runs in the end. In the 3rd Test, they dominated in the 1st innings. However, the visitors succumbed to Australia’s pace attack in the 2nd innings and tasted loss by 8 wickets.

After the PAK vs AUS 3rd Test, Hasan Ali greeted some fans at Sydney Cricket Stadium. During the incident, a fan from the crowd mocked Hasan Ali for his catching skills. He said, “Come here, let me teach you how to catch”.

To this, Ali gave a befitting response and asked the fan to come out and teach him to catch. The video of the moment was caught on camera and went viral on social media. Have a look a the video below.

Hasan Ali Dropped Matthew Wade’s Catch In T20 WC 2021 Semi-Final

Notably, Hasan Ali dropped a crucial catch of Matthew Wade during the Pakistan vs Australia semi-final clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Later, it led to a disaster as Wade shattered three consecutive sixes in the 19th over to drive Australia to a victory as well as the final.

Later, Hasan Ali was also criticized by many for dropping Wade’s catch. He also lost his place in the national side later and did not play in T20 World Cup 2022. However, after Naseem Shah’s injury, the right-arm pacer returned to the squad for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

Pakistan To Face New Zealand In 5 T20Is

Meanwhile, Pakistan will now tour New Zealand for a T20I series after the Test series loss to Australia. Shaheen Afridi will lead the T20I side for the first time during the tour. PAK vs NZ T20I series will observe five games from January 12 to 21. The tour comprises just the T20I series.

After facing a whitewash against Australia in the Test series, Pakistan has faced a big setback in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. Pakistan has dropped to the 6th spot in the ICC World Test Championship points table. They have a PCT of 36.66 after losing 3 games out of 5. Pakistan has played 2 Test series out of 6 so far.
