PAK vs SA: Panoti! Pakistan Fans Slam Kamran Akmal After His Tweet Triggers Inexplicable Collapse vs South Africa

Former wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal is facing the wrath of Pakistan fans after their team failed to reach the 300-run mark in the ongoing game against South Africa in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
Pakistan are up against the Proteas at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai in a must-win clash. They came into the game on the back of three losses in a row in the tournament. The Men in Green started their campaign with wins over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka before suffering heavy losses against India, Australia, and Afghanistan.
With 2 wins from 5 games, Pakistan cannot afford any more slip-ups. In the ongoing game, Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. They made a poor start with the bat as both of their openers – Abdullah Shafique (9) and Imam-ul-Haq (12) – failed to get going. Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed also could not do much with the bat either and departed after scoring 31 and 21 respectively.
Captain Babar Azam scored a fifty but failed to convert it once again. At one stage, Pakistan were reeling at 141 for 5 and even the 250-run mark was looking unlikely. However, Saud Shakeel (52) and Shadab Khan (43) shared a quick stand of 84 runs to put Pakistan on course for a good total.
Kamran Akmal trolled and slammed by Pakistan fans:
As Shakeel and Shadab were batting well, Kamran Akmal took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his views. The former cricketer stated that Pakistan would post at least 300 runs on the board and also praised the duo for their fine display with the bat.
“Seems like Pakistan gonna post atleast 300 runs on Board…very well played,” wrote Kamran Akmal.
Seems like Pakistan ?? gonna post atleast 300 runs on Board…very well played @babarazam258 @saudshak & @76Shadabkhan #PAKvsSA

Well, even a former Pakistani wicketkeeper found it challenging to anticipate the unpredictability of Pakistan’s cricket. Soon after his post, Pakistan suffered a collapse and were all out for 270 runs in the 47th over. And as they failed to reach the 300-run mark, the fans vented their anger at Kamran Akmal.
Here are some of the reactions:
