Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez lashed out at BCCI for poor planning and management during the ICC World Cup 2023. Mohammad Hafeez also criticized BCCI for not issuing visas to Pakistan fans.
BCCI did not allow visas to many Pakistan citizens and even journalists. Many Pakistani influencers were also not allotted visas. Another incident that caught attention was Mujeeb ur Rahman getting stuck while protecting a boundary in Dharamsala ground.

I Have Seen Poor Planning From The Organisers: Mohammad Hafeez
Speaking on a local sports show, former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez lambasted BCCI for poor planning during ICC World Cup 2023. He also noted that there is poor crowd response during games.
“We have seen the overall World Cup in just four days and till now, I have seen poor organising and poor planning from the organisers. The second biggest issue of this World Cup is the poor response from the crowd. When you are hosting a global event, then you have to make decisions globally. You cannot make big decisions with a small-minded approach,” Mohammad Hafeez said.
Hafeez also said that fans from every team should get visas.
“It does not matter from where they are, fans of every single team should get visas. If you can’t deal this [an event as big as the World Cup] in a global way, then its impact will not be global,” he further added.
Notably, there were many changes to the schedule of ICC World Cup 2023 games two months ahead of the tournament. Recently, England player Ben Stokes termed the outfield at Dharamsala Stadium as poor.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in their next match of the ICC World Cup 2023. They earlier crushed the Netherlands by 81 runs in their opening game. India crushed Australia by 6 wickets in their first match. The hosts will not take on Afghanistan on Wednesday, October 11.
