PAK vs SL: Shoaib Akhtar Gives Tip To Pakistan After Their 2-Wicket Loss Against Sri Lanka In Asia Cup 2023, Says 'Don't Create Any Confusion And Prepare Your Final XI'

Former Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar passed tips to Babar Azam-led Pakistan after their two wickets loss in the fifth Super Fours match of the Asia Cup 2023 on Thursday (September 14th) and asked the team management not make any confusion while making the first eleven.
While speaking on his official YouTube channel, Shoaib Akhtar said that from now onward Pakistan need to think about the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.
The former pacer suggested the Men in Green team management not create any confusion before making the first eleven and then the final eleven.
Shoaib Akhtar pointed out the weak side of the Men in Green and said that Babar Azam’s side doesn’t have quality spinners, and also doesn’t have a strong batting lineup. Akhtar also said that the team have a weak middle order.
“From here, Pakistan need to look at their World Cup squad. My suggestion would be not to create any confusion and to prepare your final XI. You don’t have depth in your middle order, you don’t have quality spinners, you don’t have a strong batting line-up. Abdullah Shafique is one of his kind and needs to be backed,” Shoaib Akhtar said.

After criticizing the team the former Pakistani player added that the whole nation would support the team and accepted the two wickets loss against Sri Lanka is embarassing.
Shoaib Akhtar said that the way Men in Green failed to make their way in the final match of the Asia Cup 2023 is not nice. The former player added the team needs to make a lot of changes and have to think if they want to win the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.
Shoaib Akhtar hits out at Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam for his captaincy skills and said that he needs to polish his captaincy skills before the extravaganza tournament.
“We will support our team and that’s all we can do. But this is an embarrassing loss. To get out of the tournament in this fashion is not nice. Pakistan have a lot to think about if they want to win the World Cup. The captaincy needs to sharpen up,” he added.
In the final match of the Asia Cup 2023, Sri Lanka will lock horns against India on Sunday (September 17th).
