Pakistan Asia Cup Squad 2023 Team List, Players List, Schedule 2023. Asia Cup 2023 begins on August 30 and Pakistan will square off with Nepal in the tournament opener. Pakistan is part of Group A with India and Nepal in the same group.

Asia Cup 2023 observes a clash between six teams. Other than Pakistan; India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are five other teams in the tournament. The tournament will witness 13 exciting matches between all these teams.

Pakistan will face Nepal and India during the group stage. After facing Nepal in the tournament opener on August 30, Pakistan will face India on September 2. Later, the top two teams from the group will reach the super four round.

Pakistan is also one of the hosts of the tournament alongside Sri Lanka. Hence, Pakistan will play a few games on their home soil during the tournament. Last year, Pakistan reached the final but ended as runners-up after losing the ultimate clash against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan has announced its squad for Asia Cup 2023. Under Babar Azam, Pakistan has named a 17-member squad. Players like Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi will be among the senior members.

Some youngsters like Salman Ali Agha, Tayyab Tahir, Usama Mir, and Faheem Ashraf are also part of the team. Below is Pakistan’s full squad for the tournament.

Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan Captain And Vice-Captain

Babar Azam is the captain of Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023. In the last edition too, Babar Azam led the team that reached the final. However, Babar Azam could not lead the team to victory.

In the upcoming tournament, Babar Azam will aim to lead Pakistan to the first-ever Asia Cup title under his leadership.  Shadab Khan is the vice-captain of Pakistan in the tournament.

Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan Reserve Players

Pakistan has not named any reserve players for the tournament. They have only named a 17-member final squad.
