Fakhar, on the other hand, who is now one of the senior members of the side, would want to play a responsible innings in the second match and seal the series for the home side.

The opening combination will be followed by wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Harris, who played in his usual attacking manner and took on the Bangladeshi bowlers after losing both the openers early.

Harris was well supported by Salman Ali Agha and Hasan Nawaz, both of whom also made handy contributions along with Harris and revived Pakistan from a tricky situation.

Pakistan's vice-captain Shadab Khan contributed with both bat and ball by scoring 48 useful runs off just 25 balls, which took the team to an above-par total of 201 runs.

The all-rounder then picked up a couple of wickets in the middle over to stem the flow of runs and put the batters under pressure.

Shadab received good support from Khushdil Shah, who also picked up the crucial wicket of Towhid Hridoy to provide the final blow to Bangladesh's chances in the game.

Bowlers: Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed

The Men in Green would be elated by the way their fast bowlers bowled upfront with the new ball, with the fast bowling pair of Hasan Ali and Faheem Ashraf striking in the powerplay.

Hasan Ali was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as he picked up five wickets and laid the platform for an important win.

Pakistan decided to back Faheem Ashraf as the fast-bowling all-rounder, and it paid off as he bowled three economical overs in which he gave away 18 runs and picked up a wicket.

Pakistan would hope for their fast bowlers to carry the form in the next match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

PAK's spin bowling department was handled well by Shadab Khan and Abrar Ahmed, who choked the runs in the middle overs, thereby creating pressure on the opposition.
