Pakistan will be up against South Africa in the third of the three-match T20I series. This article provides details about Pakistan's Playing 11 vs South Africa for the third match of the series.

Pakistan Playing XI vs South Africa- 3rd T20I, South Africa Tour of Pakistan 2025:

Openers: Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub

Pakistan would want their batters to have a good outing with the bat once again in the final T20I against South Africa and help the team post an above-par total while batting first.

The batters did their job with perfection while chasing a small target in the previous game after a good bowling performance from the Pakistani bowlers, who bowled South Africa out for a below-par total of 110, courtesy of some good bowling upfront.

The onus will be on the openers to click as a partnership in back-to-back matches and get the team off to a good start in the first six overs to build a platform for the batters to come, who can control the middle overs.

This opening pair of Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub failed to find the tempo with which they should have batted in the opening match, but rectified that mistake in the next fixture by adding 54 runs for the first wicket.

If Saim and Sahibzada can get going in the upcoming match, it will increase Pakistan's chances of winning the series.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha (c), Usman Khan (wk), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf,

Like the openers, the middle order would also want to have a good outing with the bat and gain much-needed confidence for the three-match ODI series that will follow this particular game.

Looking at the makeup of the batting lineup, the team will heavily rely on former captain Babar Azam, who made a comeback in the T20I setup in the opening match of the series to make a significant contribution.

Babar is one of the most experienced batters in the current lineup and would want to take responsibility, given the amount of experience that he has under his belt.

Along with Babar, the present T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha, would hope to deliver a match-winning performance, having not been able to do so in the last few matches.

Bowlers: Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed, Salman Mirza

If we take a look at the bowling attack, it comprises a good blend of youth and experience with names like Salman Mirza, Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed, and Mohammad Nawaz.

The above-mentioned names will be assisted by fast bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf, who broke the back of the middle order by picking up four wickets and extended the good work done by Salman Mirza and Naseem Shah.

The hosts would back Salman Mirza to replicate the performance he delivered in the last match and pick wickets with the new ball.

Salman's bowling partner, Naseem Shah, would also be entrusted to give good support to him from the other end in the first six overs.

The spin bowling department would be handled by Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, and Saim Ayub, all of whom would play a crucial role in the game if the conditions remain dry.
