Pakistan will face Zimbabwe in the fourth match of the T20I tri-series. This article provides details about Pakistan's Playing 11 vs Zimbabwe for the fourth match of the series.
Pakistan Playing XI vs Zimbabwe- Pakistan T20I Tri Series 2025, Match 4:
Openers: Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub
Pakistan would want to continue the good form they have shown in the recent past in all three formats of the game by winning the upcoming game against Zimbabwe, which is a part of the T20I tri-series.
The home team got the better of Zimbabwe in the opening match of the series and would look to make it two wins in two matches against them.
To accomplish that goal, the Men in Green would bank on their openers to get them off to a good start by playing in the aggressive manner that they are known for at the top of the order.
Having said that, the opening duo of Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub have been quite inconsistent since they have been given a continuous run in this format of the game and would like to rectify that in the game in question.
In addition to putting on a strong performance in a partnership, both Farhan and Ayub would want to get a substantial score individually as well
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Babar Azam, Salman Agha (c), Usman Khan (wk), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf
The Pakistani middle order will also be entrusted to capitalize on the platform provided by the openers, as it comprises batters who are capable of doing so.
It would be interesting to see what the batting position of the middle-order batters would be as the team made a few notable changes in that regard in the opening match against the same opposition.
One of those changes was Fakhar Zaman, who batted at number five, and the only reason one could think about for that particular move is his aggressive gameplay against the spinners, which can be a long-term plan going forward.
Whatever the batting position of different batters might be, one certain thing is that the onus will be on the top five batters, including former and current captain Salman Ali Agha and Babar Azam, to score the bulk of the runs.
Bowlers: Shaheen Afridi, Salman Mirza, Abrar Ahmed
If we talk about the bowling attack, it might undergo a change or two with Pakistan following a rotation policy with regard to the bowling department in order to manage the workload of the bowlers.
However, the hosts are expected to stick to their strategy of having depth in the batting lineup and go into the match against Sri Lanka with only three specialist bowlers and a couple of all-rounders.
The bowling combination will depend a lot on the nature of the pitch, which is offered for the fourth match of the tri-series
The home team might pick a couple of spinners if the pitch happens to be on the drier side, or an extra fast bowler if the team management feels that it will assist the fast bowlers.
