The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday, October 4, announced a star-studded lineup for the much-anticipated Pakistan vs England Test series.

After a fierce bidding war, the international broadcast rights for the upcoming three-match Pakistan vs England Test series were secured by the TransGroup and ARY consortium, which promises to enthrall fans globally.

The upcoming three-match Pakistan vs England Test series is set to be held in Multan and Rawalpindi, and the PCB has put all its efforts into enhancing the viewing experience for the fans.

With cutting-edge broadcasting technology, including 28 high-definition cameras, drone cams, buggy cams, and the full Hawk-Eye review system, fans will be treated to every intense moment of action in the much-awaited Test series.

The return of the PitchSide Studio promises in-depth pre- and post-match analysis, making the Pakistan vs England Test series a must-watch event for cricket fans across the globe.

Adding to the excitement is the star-studded commentary panel for the Test series between Pakistan and England, which will certainly elevate the experience of the fans.

Former England captains David Gower, Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain will grace the commentary box to give their voice to the on-field action between Pakistan and England in the upcoming three-match Test series, starting on October 7.

Joining the English legends will be a star lineup of Pakistani voices, including Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Urooj Mumtaz, and Bazid Khan, who are now part of the official commentary panel for the upcoming Test series between Pakistan and England.

Apart from them, British broadcaster and former England cricketer Ian Ward will also commentate on the Pakistan vs England Test series. Zainab Abbas will serve as the series presenter in the Test series, offering deep insights through the popular PitchSide Studio.

The PCB said in a press release: “The PCB confirms the star-studded commentary panel for the Test series. David Gower, Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain will return to Pakistan as commentators for this series, having previously covered the three Tests between Pakistan and England in December 2022.

They will be joined by Test cricketer Ian Ward as the voices from England. The Pakistani voices include former Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, Test cricketer Bazid Khan, and former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz. Zainab Abbas will serve as the series presenter.”

Notably, the Test series will be broadcast live in Pakistan on A-Sports, Ten Sports, and PTV Sports, with live streaming available on Tamasha.

In the UK, BBC Sport will provide radio coverage, while Sky Sports will televise the matches. Broadcast details for other regions will be announced soon.

This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25. Pakistan will be aiming to bounce back from the recent setback against Bangladesh in the next home series.

However, Pakistan retained the same squad for the upcoming home test played against the Tigers.
