Former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif has leaked the squads for the upcoming white-ball series against New Zealand. After a heartbreaking campaign in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Men in Green are all set to travel to New Zealand for the white-ball series in March-April.
The Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan National Cricket Team crashed out of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 from the group stages even without a single win. The hosts have suffered back-to-back defeats in their first two group matches against New Zealand and India before the final group match against Bangladesh was washed out.

After the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 disappointment, the Men in Green are all set to shift their focus to the New Zealand tour, where they will play five T20Is and three ODIs from March 16 to April 5. Well, it is being said that many players would be dropped from the team due to poor performances in the tournament.
And now Rashid Latif has confirmed that Babar Azam and Naseem Shah have been dropped from the Pakistan team for the upcoming five-match T20I series against the Black Caps. Taking to X on Monday, March 3, Latif revealed that Mohammad Yousuf has been named Pakistan’s batting coach.
Shahid Alam has been removed from his position, and now Mohammad Yousuf is returned to the backroom staff for the New Zealand tour. More interestingly, Shadab Khan has been named as Pakistan’s new T20 captain while there is no space for Mohammad Rizwan as well.
