PBKS vs MI: Watch - Rohit Sharma's hilarious reaction after Liam Livingstone foils his plan to play switch hit

Rohit Sharma had a hilarious reaction to Liam Livingstone foiling his plan for a shot in the ongoing game between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in the 33rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024).

The incident took place in the tenth over when the PBKS spinner was bowling to the former Mumbai Indians skipper. On the third ball of the over, Rohit Sharma had premeditated for the switch hit. Even before Livingstone could release the ball, Rohit Sharma took the position for the shot.

However, Livingstone noticed it and pulled out of his action, leaving Rohit Sharma hanging. Rohit Sharma looked a bit disappointed at first before he as well as Livingstone started laughing.

Talking about the ongoing game, MI were on 113 for 2 in the 14th over at the time of writing this report. Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav were batting in the middle for the five-time champions. Earlier in the game,  Ishan Kishan failed to score big and was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada for just 8.

Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar then steadied the ship with an 81-run stand. Sam Curran broke the stand by dismissing Rohit Sharma for 36. The India skipper would be disappointed with his failure to convert his latest start into a big score. He scored a century in the last outing and would have loved to register another big score.

Both PBKS and MI are desperate for a win tonight to revive their stuttering campaign. Both teams have managed to win just two of their first six games so far. While PBKS are languishing at the eighth spot, MI are at the ninth spot. Both the teams have also lost their last games in the tournament. PBKS suffered a three-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals while MI suffered a 20-run loss against Chennai Super Kings.
