The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent a provisional schedule for the 10th edition of their premier competition - the Pakistan Super League

Due to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 touted to take place during PSL's actual time frame in February-March, the PCB has been contemplating a change. The apex Pakistani cricket board had been looking for the best possible window to hold the landmark 10th season of their Super League which began in the year of 2016.

After thorough check-ups of the international cricketing calendar of 2025, the PCB has created a tentative schedule for the upcoming season. The schedule, venue, and timings have been sent to all the franchise owners, who are expected to give their verdict on the same in the upcoming days. If the schedule stays the same, then we will see PSL clash with Indian Premier League for the first time.

Scheduling of PSL 10

The PCB sat down recently and formulated the scheduling of PSL season 10. It has been revealed that 28 matches will be held in Pakistan at the usual venues in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan. The remaining four matches are being touted to take place outside of the country with England being the most likely option to be explored.

A total of 10 matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore whereas 8 matches are touted to be played at the Rawalpindi Stadium. The stadium in Multan and the Karachi National Stadium will stage 5 PSL 10 matches each with the remaining 4 matches expected to be shifted to England.

The number of matches in Karachi have been decreased due to the low attendance registered in PSL 9. The Karachi Kings are going to play their 5 games at the National Stadium. Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars will play half of their matches in Lahore itself and Quetta Gladiators will also play 5 games in Lahore.

Multan Sultans and Islamabad United will play 5 home games in Multan and the Rawalpindi stadiums. Babar Azam's Peshwara Zalmi will also play 5 matches in Pindi.
