"People who are complaining..." - Harbhajan Singh forced to apologize for controversial 'Tauba Tauba' reel, viral video deleted

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh cleared the air on their 'Tauba Tauba' dance video amid criticism over trolling disabled people. He said that their intention wasn't to offend anyone and it was just to reflect the soreness in their bodies after the tournament.
India Champions scripted history as they defeated Pakistan Champions in the final of the World Championship of Legends 2024. They displayed a good brand of cricket throughout the competition and defeated arch-rivals to win the title under the leadership of Yuvraj Singh.
After the tournament win, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh came up with a hilarious reel on their Instagram account. They posted the video on the famous 'Tauba Tauba' song and highlighted that their bodies are sore after playing.
In the video, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Raina were seen limping and holding their backs to show the struggle they had gone through their bodies during the tournament. They posted the video with the caption:
"Body ki Tauba Tauba ho Gayi in 15 dayslegends cricket... Every part of the body is sore. Straight competition to our brothers @vickykaushal09 @karanaujla our version of Tauba Tauba dance. What a SONG."
However, after posting the video, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh received a lot of criticism for that. Even a police complaint was filed against them for allegedly mocking people with disabilities in a video. It was filed by the executive director of the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP).
Not only this but also they were criticised a lot for trolling the Pakistan Champions team. During the game, Misbah-ul-Haq also left the field injured and walked off the ground limping. Many even lashed out at them for taking a jibe at the injured player.
Harbhajan Singh came up with a clarification after the video of Tauba Tauba went viral
Amid all the criticism, Harbhajan Singh came up with a statement and issued a clarification that they didn't want to hurt anyone. He apologized to people for hurting their sentiments. He has now deleted that reel as well. Taking to his Twitter account, he said:
"Just wanted to clear to our people who are complaining about our recent videos of Tauba Tauba on social media...We didn't want to hurt anyone's sentiments. We respect every individual and community and this video was just to reflect on our bodies after playing continuous cricket for 15 days."

India Champions defeated Pakistan Champions by 5 wickets in the final of the tournament. They were asked to field first and they restricted the arch-rivals to a total of 156/6. With the bat then, they lost a few wickets but chased the target in the last over to win the title.
