Preity Zinta surrenders to Abhishek Sharma after SRH vs PBKS

Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta was all in awe of the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting sensation Abhishek Sharma despite the hosts crushing Shreyas Iyer and his team by eight wickets in the 27th match of the ongoing IPL 2025 on Saturday, April 12.

From the stands to the ground and now on social media, Preity Zinta couldn’t hold herself from singing the praises of the talented Abhishek Sharma. When the Sunrisers Hyderabad opener was hammering Punjab Kings bowlers, she was still seen enjoying the youngster’s batting.

Abhishek created history by scoring the highest individual score in the history of the Indian Premier League in the SRH versus PBKS match in Hyderabad. The left-handed batter played a remarkable knock of 141 runs off 55 balls against Punjab Kings and helped his team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, to end their four-match losing streak in the ongoing IPL 2025.

After the SRH batter demolished her team, PBKS, Preity Zinta was seen interacting with Abhishek, congratulating him for his blistering knock that won the game for his team. The beautiful diva also reportedly asked the Punjab lad to repeat his rare celebration, where he showed the note to the crowd that reads, “This one is for the Orange Army.”

After the match, Travis Head revealed that Abhishek had been carrying that small piece of paper with him in every SRH game, but he could now show it, as he failed to deliver in those matches.
