The third match of the PSL 2021 will be played between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans at National Stadium (Karachi) on Sunday (21st February) night.

During this third match of the PSL 6, both Islamabad United and Multan Sultans will begin their journey in this new season. While they met twice in the last PSL season, both teams won once each in that tournament.

The two-time PSL champions (2016 and 2018) Islamabad United finished in the sixth or last position in the PSL 2020. Meanwhile, Multan Sultans were the third best team in the PSL 2020 after finishing as the table topper in the league stage.

On last night, the defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators met at this venue during the opening match of the PSL 6. While Gladiators scored just 121 runs (18.2 overs) in the first innings after losing the toss, Kings comfortably reached the target in 13.5 overs after losing three wickets.

Generally, the pacers are very effective in this T20 venue. However, the leg-spinners can also some useful role at this venue.
