The preparations for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024) are in full flow. The tournament is set to take place from 13th February and it’ll be the eighth edition of the league.

The player draft for the PSL 2024 is all set to take place on 13 December at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore. Ahead of the draft, all the teams have released their list of retained players. All the teams except Multan Sultans have retained 8 players whereas Multan did 7.

This time around a lot of staggering trades took place as well. Few of the big names were traded and it’s fair to say that it’ll be an interesting season to watch. Shan Masood and Hasan Ali will be playing for Karachi Kings in the PSL 2024.

Whereas Naseem Shah and Imad Wasim moved to Islamabad United. Rilee Rossouw, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, and Abrar Ahmed were traded to Quetta Gladiators while Multan Sultans acquired the services of Iftikhar Ahmed.

On the other hand, some of the big names in Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Shoaib Malik were retained by their respective teams.
