R Ashwin's Wife Amazed To See Her Husband's Unparalleled Delight After Boxing Day Test Win

Indian off-spinner, R Ashwin is ecstatic about team India’s win over Australia in the Boxing Day Test match. So much so, that his wife, Prithi Ashwin went on to say that she has never seen him this happy. Team India won the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy on Tuesday. They beat the Australians by 8 wickets.

After what happened in Adelaide, this win came as a massive boost for the Indian Cricket Team. The Indian bowlers were right on the mark in both the innings. They did not let the Kangaroos cross the 200-run mark in both the innings which is quite a commendable effort on the Australian soil. R Ashwin, India’s prime spinner, picked 5 crucial wickets in the game to dismantle the Australian batting line up.

Seeing the picture, Ashwin’s wife, Prithi Ashwin, shared that she has never seen her husband so elated after a win. She took to Twitter and wrote, “I have seen/ spoken to Ashwin after every Test he has played and after a lot of wins. But I have never seen him this happy, satisfied and light (can I say?) with a smile in his eyes in almost 10 years.”

R Ashwin has got the better of Steve Smith twice in three innings in this series. A lot of cricketers have gone on to say that Ashwin has been able to find and exploit Steve Smith’s weakness.
