R Sai Kishore Bought By Gujarat Titans For INR 2 crore at IPL Auction 2025

R Sai Kishore has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 75 lakh. The left-arm spinner played for Gujarat Titans in the last season of the IPL.
While the Tamil Nadu ace has been playing in the domestic circuit since 2017, he could make his IPL debut only in 2022. In his debut season, Sai Kishore played 5 games and picked up 6 wickets with an economy rate of less than 8.
He did not play any game in IPL 2023 as the Titans preferred the likes of Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad ahead of him. In IPL 2024, Sai Kishore once again managed to break into the Gujarat Titans playing eleven. He played 5 games and picked up 7 wickets.
In October 2023, Sai Kishore also made his debut for Team India in T20Is during the Asian Games in China. He played three games in the tournament and picked up 4 wickets while maintaining a brilliant economy rate of 5.25.

Gujarat Titans have retained R Sai Kishore at INR 2 crore after exercising the RTM option in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad made the opening bid while Punjab Kings were the second team to bid for the Tamil Nadu ace.
Gujarat Titans did discuss for a while but did not register any bid. With Punjab Kings registering the highest bid at 90 lakh, the Titans decided to use the RTM. The Kings raised the amount to 2 crore and the Titans matched it.
