The trend of biopics in Indian cinema has featured several cricketers. The biopic on legendary captain MS Dhoni was the biggest success, and the biopics of Mohammad Azharuddin and Mithali Raj have also hit the big screen. Rahul Dravid was recently asked who might portray him in a biopic about his life.

Biopics often highlight how stars rise from zero to heroes and overcome challenges to achieve success. A new biopic on legendary cricketer Yuvraj Singh has also been announced on Tuesday, August 20. Bollywood studio T-Series will produce the movie on Singh's remarkable life and cricketing career.

"To travel all over this country and to be able to experience that joy and passion of the fans. I’ve never been a part of a World Cup as a player in India, but just the experience as a coach to go from city to city and just walk and see what this game meant to the people of this country was phenomenal.
