Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja brutally mocked star batter Babar Azam during the first Test against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The incident occurred in Pakistan’s first innings on Day 1 (Sunday, October 12) when Babar was given out by on-field umpire Senuran Muthusamy off bowling.
Babar made his return to the Pakistan lineup after nearly two months. He struggled again in the first innings of the Test against South Africa in Lahore. The right-handed batter got off to a decent start but was eventually undone by Proteas spinner Simon Harmer, failing to make a notable impact.

Babar Azam came to the crease at number four with Pakistan in a strong position at 163/2 against South Africa. On the first ball of the 49th over, the batter was initially given out by the umpire, with the fielders claiming an edge.
Babar opted for a review, and the decision was overturned as UltraEdge showed no contact between bat and ball, allowing him to continue his innings.
During the review, Ramiz Raja, who was on the commentary panel, stated that Babar would do drama if he got out, and the clip grabbed attention in the cricketing community. "Ye out hoga, drama karega ye," he said.

Babar Azam Fails to Convert His Decent Start into a Big Score
Babar Azam began his innings with elegant strokes against the South African attack. After a decent start, he began to slow down and adopt a more cautious approach, allowing the bowlers to regain control.
Simon Harmer cleverly delivered a tossed-up ball. Babar attempted an easy flick but missed entirely, and the ball struck his pad. The on-field umpire ruled him not out, giving Pakistan a temporary reprieve.
The visitors opted to review the decision, sending the call upstairs. The TV umpire checked the delivery, and UltraEdge was not detected. Babar was adjudged LBW, leaving him stunned and visibly disappointed as he walked back to the pavilion.
Babar Azam Becomes First Asian Cricketer to Reach 3,000 Runs in WTC
Babar Azam became the first Asian cricketer to reach 3,000 runs in the World Test Championship (WTC). He needed just two runs to hit the milestone and achieved it with a boundary off Senuran Muthusamy in the 49th over.
Before Babar, only four Australians – Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Travis Head, and Usman Khawaja – and three Englishmen – Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Zak Crawley –had crossed the 3,000-run mark in the WTC.
Among Pakistani players, Mohammad Rizwan has surpassed 2,000 runs in 37 matches, while Test captain Shan Masood has 1,663 runs in 28 matches.
Among Asian batters, Indian skipper Shubman Gill is closest to the milestone with 2,826 runs in 71 innings. Gill, who scored an unbeaten 129 in India’s ongoing second Test against the West Indies in Delhi, is closing in on 3,000 WTC runs.
