Rashid Khan Picks His 6 Most Competitive Spinners In The Current Era, Heaps Praise On The Indian Spinner

Afghanistan sensation Rashid Khan had picked six spinners who he has enjoyed watching bowl in the T20 format and two Indian spinners managed to make his list. Rashid Khan’s six spinners included Yuzvendra Chahal, and Ravi Bishnoi from India while the remaining four were Shadab Khan, Ish Sodhi, Adam Zampa, and Imran Tahir.

Rashid Khan is one of the best spinners in the world if not the best and he will play a big role in the T20 Worldcup for Afghanistan. Yuzvendra Chahal has been dropped from the Indian side for the T20 Worldup 2021 owing to his poor form and Rahul Chahar was preferred ahead of him. However, Chahal made a fine comeback for RCB in the UAE phase and was very lethal with the ball.

Rashid Khan picked the RCB spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, as one of the spinners he has enjoyed watching bowl for India as well as in the IPL. He added that Ravi Bishnoi is another leg spinner who he has talked a lot to in the last season about the lengths and lines he should be bowling.

“One is Yuzvendra Chahal. He has been one of the most consistent performers for India as well as for RCB.” 

“The young guy I love watching is [Ravi] Bishnoi. He has improved so much [since the 2020 IPL]. We had a discussion last year during the IPL on bowling line and length and other stuff. Rashid Khan Picks Virat Kohli As One Of The Hardest To Bowl At

Rashid Khan admitted that Virat Kohli is one of the toughest to bowl at because that he tries to find the gaps in the field while batting. He added that Kohli will pounce on him if he slightly misses his length by a small margin.

“The batsmen who try to hit you in the gap, like Virat Kohli, are pretty hard to bowl to. As soon as he finds out that this ball is a bit off length or a loose ball, he is going to hit you in the gap.” he added

Rashid Khan will be up against Virat Kohli in the Super 12 league stage game between India and Afghanistan on November 3.
