Ravindra Jadeja Reveals Team India's Sweater For The ICC WTC Final

Team India’s sweater for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final has been revealed.

The No.1 ranked Test team in the world, India, will lock horns with New Zealand in the final of the inaugural Test Championship at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton between June 18-22.

The sweater is a proper throwback to the 90s with the ICC logo on one end, where ICC WTC Final 2021 is written, while the other end has the BCCI logo.

Champion Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave thumbs up to the design as he shared the same on his official Twitter account.

Ravindra Jadeja will be making a comeback to the Test team after having missed most of the winter assignments due to injury.

After having missed the first Test against Australia due to a hamstring injury, Jadeja made a comeback to the team in the second Test and he immediately made a mark as he scored a crucial half-century in the first innings before chipping in with crucial wickets in the second.

However, the Saurashtra all-rounder copped a blow on his hand while batting in the Sydney Test and was eventually ruled out of the series.

Ravindra Jadeja had to undergo immediate surgery, and, as a result, he was ruled out of the home series against England.

The all-rounder made a comeback to competitive cricket with IPL 2021 where he left a mark with imperious displays with both bat, ball, and, of course, in the field.

Meanwhile, the ICC has announced the playing conditions for the World Test Championship final.

According to the playing conditions, in case the game ends in a draw or a tie, both sides will be crowned champions. June 23rd has been kept as a reserve day, in case overs are not completed during the course of the five days.
