However, the kind of things that panned out before Ravichandran Ashwin's announcement have sparked rumors that Ravindra Jadeja might be next. This is because Australia National Cricket Team spinner Nathan Lyon was seen having a conversation with both the spinners.

If the rumors turn out to be true, it could be a massive blow for the India National Cricket Team, especially with both Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja retiring almost at the same time. The absence of an all-rounder will leave a massive void in the team, no doubt, but it could get worse with Jadeja too retiring.

Although the conditions didn't suit him, Jadeja couldn't make a bigger impact with the ball. But he was at his best with the bat as he bailed the India National Cricket Team out of trouble when it seemed Australia National Cricket Team would be enforcing the follow-on.

The third Test match between India and Australia ended in a draw. The rain played a massive part in it, and both the teams will be heading into the fourth game with the series being levelled at 1-1. The next game of the series will be played from 26th December at MCG.
