Virat, on the other hand, is coming on the back of a match-winning half century against CSK at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and would like to deliver another solid performance against LSG.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar (c), Romario Shepherd, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Tim David, Krunal Pandya

One of the biggest positives for Royal Challengers Bengaluru this year has been the form of Devdutt Padikkal, who has capitalized on the good starts provided by the opening duo and has kept the pressure on the bowlers.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru would be concerned by the lack of form of their captain Rajat Patidar in the last few matches.

The right-hander is an integral part of RCB's middle order and started the season with good knocks against MI and CSK.

Other than Patidar batters like Tim David and Jitesh Sharma have fulfilled the role as a finisher while batting in the final five overs and have put the pressure on the opposition bowlers.

Tim David, in particular, has displayed that he can bat in different gears as and when the team demands. The duo of Jitesh and David has been well complemented by Romario Shepherd.

The hard-hitting all-rounder scored an attacking and decisive half-century in the last match against CSK and guided RCB to an above-par total of 213 runs, which proved to be enough.

Bowlers: Suyash Sharma, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's fast bowling trio of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood, and Yash Dayal have done an excellent job in the first six overs.

RCB would hope for Josh Hazlewood to be fit and available for the game against LSG, as the fast bowler has been instrumental in keeping the opposition's batting lineup in check.

The fast bowler can prove to be useful on a helpful surface at the Ekana Stadium and can take full advantage of the long square boundaries by using the short ball to good effect.

As far as the performance of Yash Dayal is concerned, the fast bowler has gone under the radar but has made good use of his variations, especially in pressure situations for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The spin department of RCB is being handled by experienced all-rounder Krunal Pandya and young leg spinner Suyash Sharma.

The duo can also extract any sort of help that might be available on a surface that is expected to be on the slower side.
