The light-hearted incident was caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media, with Kishan laughing as he fulfilled the autograph request.
The incident took place after India's 90-run victory over Zimbabwe in the second T20I in Harare on Saturday, July 25. The visitors posted a mammoth total of 219/5. They took a 2-0 lead in the three-match series after bowling Zimbabwe out for 129. Kishan, who scored 81 off 44 balls, won the Player of the Match award.

After the match, Ishan Kishan spent time with fans near the boundary ropes, signing jerseys, bats, and other memorabilia. One enthusiastic supporter leaned forward and asked the Indian wicketkeeper-batter to autograph his bald head.
The 28-year-old was left in splits but agreed to sign the fan's head with a permanent marker. A video quickly went viral on social media. Kishan was laughing throughout the moment as teammates, officials, and spectators watched the light-hearted interaction.
Shreyas Iyer's side secured a 90-run victory to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series and also register their first T20I series win under the new skipper. Kishan said he "kept things very simple" after his Player of the Match performance in the second T20I against Zimbabwe.

Ishan Kishan Overtakes Virat Kohli in Elite T20I List
Ishan Kishan also achieved a major personal milestone with his match-winning innings. The left-handed batter scored 81 off 44 balls, bringing up his sixth T20I half-century of the 2026 calendar year after India lost both openers early in the innings.
Ishan has scored 783 T20I runs in 2026, moving past Virat Kohli's previous Indian record of 781 runs in a calendar year, set in 2022.
The wicketkeeper batter is in third place on the list of the most T20I runs by an Indian batter in a calendar year. Suryakumar Yadav is at the top of the chart with 1,164 runs in 2022, while Abhishek Sharma is in second place with 859 runs in 2025.
Ishan Kishan Wins 'Best Attitude of the Match' Award
The Indian team management has introduced the 'Best Attitude of the Match' award during the Zimbabwe tour. Head coach VVS Laxman introduced the dressing-room award to encourage the right attitude on and off the field.
Following his outstanding knock and energetic presence throughout the match, Kishan was named the latest recipient of the award. Vice-captain Tilak Varma received the inaugural honour after India's victory in the first T20I.
Tilak also played a key role in the second match, remaining unbeaten on 60 off 29 balls to help India post 219/5. In reply, Abhishek Sharma starred with the ball, claiming 3/17, while Prince Yadav and Yash Thakur picked up two wickets each as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs.
