Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) keeper-batter MS Dhoni gave fans a moment to cherish in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game between the teams. The 69th game of the tournament is underway at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been asked to bat first and they had a great start with the bat, credits to Virat Kohli. The India batter looked so dedicated and in a great mood as he played some fantastic shots at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

While Virat Kohli's aggressive mood was on show for everyone, he had a joyous moment in the game with his former India skipper MS Dhoni, who was behind the stumps. The duo shared a light conversation between them and were seen laughing about it.

Virat Kohli played a magnificent innings yet again for his team in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024. He came out all guns blazing and took an attack on the Chennai Super Kings bowlers right from the start. In what is a virtual eliminator, he stepped up big time for his team at the home ground.

Virat Kohli, who has been going through the purple patch in the ongoing IPL 2024, was looking set for another big knock but he perished on the cusp of a half-century as Mitchell Santner removed him in the 10th over of the match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli played a vital innings of 47 runs off 29 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 162 and also hit 3 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. He along with Faf du Plessis added 78 runs for the opening partnership and put Chennai Super Kings bowlers under pressure.

Ahead of the game against Chennai Super Kings, Virat Kohli talked about his bond with MS Dhoni. He stated that it might be the last time that they might be facing each other. Speaking to Jio Cinema, he explained:

"For fans to see him (Dhoni) play in any stadium in India is a big thing. Me & him playing again, maybe for the last time, you never know – that is a special thing. We have had some great memories, some great partnerships for India, it’s a great occasion for fans to see us together,”

The ongoing game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings is the virtual eliminator. The team that will win will qualify for the playoffs. The Faf du Plessis-led needs to win the game by 18 runs to grab the 4th spot in the points table. They have won 5 games on the trot and would be keen to win another game.
