RCB vs DC: DC co-owner Parth Jindal justifies controversial send-off to Sanju Samson amid fan backlash

Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner Parth Jindal opened up about his aggressive send-off to Sanju Samson during the DC vs RR clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He said that the opposition team skipper left and them worried and hence he gave an animated reaction.
Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal has been at the receiving end of backlash after he gave an aggressive reaction following the wicket of Sanju Samson. The franchise official was seen yelling "Out Hai" "Out Hai" following the controversial dismissal of the RR captain.
Sanju Samson was all over the Delhi Capitals bowlers and was taking the game away from the opposition. However, at the crucial junction of the game, he got out and the game tilted after that. He became part of the controversy as his catch by Shai Hope near the boundary ropes invited a lot of criticism.
Sanju Samson played a flat batted shot towards long on. Shai Hope, who was stationed there, took the catch inches inside the boundary ropes. The third umpire made a quick decision and termed it out. However, RR management wasn't impressed by it.
Parth Jindal, who was in the stands, went berserk and was seen shouting that it was out. His reaction went viral on the internet and it saw him getting a huge amount of criticism, especially with him giving a reaction batter, who was approaching his hundred.
A day after that game, Parth Jindal clarified himself stating that he got a rush of emotions. He also revealed that he congratulated Sanju Samson for making it into the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024. Taking to his Twitter account, he explained:
"Was lovely interacting with Manoj and Sanju - was incredible to witness his power hitting at the Kotla - he got us all extremely worried hence the animated reaction when he was out! Had the pleasure of congratulating him as well. Great win by our boys!"

Delhi Capitals won the game by the margin of 20 runs and kept themselves in the hunt for playoffs. They are currently stationed 5th on the points table with 12 points from 12 games.
