RCB vs GT: "RCB is RCBing"- Twitter reacts as Royal Challengers Bengaluru thump Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024

Fans on Twitter reacted after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) kept themselves alive in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They thumped Gujarat Titans (GT) by four wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Gujarat Titans didn’t have a great outing with the bat at the  M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and couldn’t even go past 150 runs, which speaks about their poor batting performance. 

Wriddhiman Saha (1), Shubman Gill (2), and Sai Sudharsan (6) perished for just 19 runs as the hosts came on top in the powerplay. Shahrukh Khan (37) and David Miller (30) then brought Gujarat Titans back into the game with their 61-run partnership. 

However, both lost their wickets early and their team was under pressure yet again. Rahul Tewatia (35) and Rashid Khan (18) played vital hands in the end as Gujarat Titans powdered themselves to 147. For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Yash Dayal, Mohammed Siraj, and Vijaykumar Vyshak picked two wickets each. 

Virat Kohli (42) and Faf du Plessis (64) came out all guns blazing and took Royal Challengers Bengaluru off to a flying start. They added 92 runs for the opening stand inside the powerplay. It seemed that they would finish off the game quickly. 

However, after that, they lost six quick wickets and were under pressure. They were reeling at 117/6 with Josh Little and Noor Ahmed picking wickets. But Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Swapnil Singh (15*) held their nerves and took their team home with four wickets.
