Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) will be facing each other in the 52nd game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024. The RCB vs GT match is being played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Bengaluru.

This is the second time both these teams are locking horns against each other in less than a week's time. They faced each other in Ahmedabad last Sunday and RCB registered a thumping win. The Bengaluru-based outfit thrashed GT by nine wickets to register their third win of the season.

Asked to bat first, GT posted a big total of 200/3 in 20 overs thanks to half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan and Shahrukh Khan. However, RCB chased down the total in just 16 overs with Will Jacks scoring a whirlwind century. The right-handed batsman smashed an unbeaten 100 off just 41 balls while Virat Kohli scored 70 n0t out.

GT will be desperate to get back to winning ways tonight not only to avenge the loss but also to get their campaign on track. However, they will have to do it without their spinner R Sai Kishore. The Tamil Nadu star was not available for selection due to a niggle. He has been replaced by Manav Suthar in the GT playing XI.

"Important for us to deliver our best. I feel apart from bowling and batting, our fielding hasn't be up to par at crucial moments. We are going to be a better team from today. Captaincy has been fun. Josh Little comes in. Manav Suthar to debut. Sai Kishore misses out," said GT captain Shubman Gill.

R Sai Kishore's performance in IPL 2024:

R Sai Kishore has done well with the ball so far for GT. In five games, the left-arm spinner has picked up seven wickets with an economy-rate of less than 10. His best performance of the season so far came against Punjab Kings last month when he picked up four wickets for 33 runs.
