Royal Challengers Bengaluru, owned by Diageo after it took over United Breweries Limited, signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Qatar Airways as title sponsors in the Indian Premier League. This was an INR 75 crores deal marked between the two, which had finally ended after its three-year stint in 2025.

The world-class global airways brand has been a reputable organization in partnership with the side. In terms of global reach and brand value, the two were a perfect blend, since RCB has one of the top fan bases among franchise teams in the game of cricket.

The Qatar Airways logo that was engraved on the vests of the RCB players marked a huge publicity stunt for them; however, this is the end of the wonderful journey, as no reports of further collaboration have been made yet.

RCB is still unsure after handling the Stampede situation

After the IPL final between RCB and the Punjab Kings, which the Royal Challengers won and claimed their first-ever IPL title, a victory celebration followed. During the celebrations, it led to immense mismanagement, as a result of which it led to a bad stampede situation, leading to the death of several individuals.

The monetary compensations have been announced by both the Royal Challengers Bangalore management and the Karnataka State Cricket Association as well. However, the BCCI is yet to take any action against the stampede situation, with the danger of a ban looming over them.
