Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) have officially revealed their playing XI and the impact players for the 60th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025).

Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals and Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans are facing off against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, May 18.

Gujarat Titans are currently in the second spot with 16 points in 11 matches on the points table, while Delhi Capitals are in the fifth position with 13 points in 11 games.

GT are just one win away from officially qualifying for the playoffs and they are favorites to finish in the top two. On the other hand, DC have a tough journey ahead as after starting their tournament with four wins on the trot, their performance has gone downhill and there is every chance that they might miss out on a playoffs spot.

The last time Delhi Capitals featured in an Indian Premier League game, the match was called off in Dharamsala due to escalating tension at the border between India and Pakistan.

DC need to play their best cricket in the remainder of the games to finish in the top four, but things will be very tough for them as Mitchell Starc had refused to return for the competition and their batting order has been totally disorderly with the team yet to find a good opening pair.

Talking about the Gujarat Titans, they don't have many problems till the league stage, but enter the playoffs, they will miss the services of Jos Buttler and Kagiso Rabada, who will be flying back due to national commitments.

Despite that, the Titans have built a solid squad and are fully capable of dealing with the absence of some overseas players.

IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans win the toss and opt to bowl

Speaking at the toss, GT skipper Shubman Gill said that restarting everything against isn't easy for them, but the IPL suspension gave their pacers a good break. He stated:

"We will bowl first. Not easy to start all over again, but good rest for our pacers."

Meanwhile, DC captain Axar Patel said that they also wanted to bowl first. He said:

"We too wanted to bowl first, but we'll now looks to post a good total."
