Revealed: Who Are The Impact Players Nominated For LSG vs PBKS IPL 2025 Match 13

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are taking on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 13th match of the ongoing IPL 2025. The LSG vs PBKS match is being played on Tuesday (April 1) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

It is the first home game for LSG this season, and they will be hoping to win it as they eye their second victory in the ongoing tournament. The Lucknow-based outfit started its campaign with a close 1-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam.

LSG had a mixed bag while PBKS dominated so far

In their second game of the season, LSG faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad and registered a thumping 5-wicket victory. Chasing a big total of 191 runs, the Rishabh Pant-led side chased down the total inside 17 overs thanks to whirlwind fifties from Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh.

PBKS, on the other hand, are gearing up to play their second game of the season. They opened their campaign with an 11-run win over the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. PBKS have made a positive start under their new captain, Shreyas Iyer, and will be keen to extend their winning start to the season.

LSG vs PBKS: PBKS opt to bowl first

PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer has won the LSG vs PBKS toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at toss, the former KKR captain said: "We are going to bowl first. It's a new ground, new pitch so we are going to chase. The players have the freedom to express themselves. You have to play the situation, the important goal is to win. We try to keep things simple. We don't know how the pitch is going to play, but we have to adjust quickly. Lockie comes into the team."

On the other hand, LSG captain Rishabh Pant said: "We wanted to bowl first as well, but happy to bat first. There are a lot of people who have come to support us, we are definitely going to give our best. No changes for us."
