RR vs RCB: Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are facing each other in the 28th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The match is taking place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Both teams will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last game. RR faced Gujarat Titans in their previous outing and suffered a heavy 58-run loss. Chasing 218 runs, the Sanju Samson-led side was all out for 159 runs. The upcoming game will be RR's first game in Jaipur this season and they will be keen to win the contest.

RCB, on the other hand, faced a crushing 6-wicket loss at the hands of Delhi Capitals in their last game. After scoring 163/7 in 20 overs, the Bengaluru-based outfit had reduced DC to 58/4. However, an unbeaten 93-run knock from KL Rahul helped DC chase down the total inside 18 overs. RCB have won all of their three away games so far and will be hoping to win this game too.

RR vs RCB: RCB opt to bowl

RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to bowl first against RR. Speaking after winning the RR vs RCB toss, Patidar said: "We will bowl first. Surface looks pretty hard and good. We will know how the pitch behaves. This (green jersey) is to raise awareness to plant more trees. Same team for us."

On the other hand, RR captain Samson said: "Actually we also wanted to bowl first. Normally it gets better to bat is the local information here. We know the conditions and if we respect the opposition and play to potential I think we will be fine. Ups and downs keep happening, can't allow doubts to enter into the dressing room. Hasa is back. Hasaranga will be replacing our Farooqi ji."
